Terms of Service — ThriendsPilot

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ThriendsPilot, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

ThriendsPilot is operated by Sundial Forge, LLC. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Sundial Forge, LLC.

2. What ThriendsPilot Does

ThriendsPilot is a Threads analytics dashboard that connects to your Threads account via OAuth to retrieve your posts, engagement metrics, and audience data. It uses that data to display historical charts and trends, track cross-promotion between you and friends you add, and publish posts you schedule.

ThriendsPilot uses the Meta Threads API and operates in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Meta's Developer Policies. By using ThriendsPilot, you also agree to comply with Meta's terms as they apply to your use of Threads.

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

To use ThriendsPilot, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Meta for Threads in your country)
  • Have a valid Threads account in good standing
  • Provide accurate information when registering

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials secure
  • All activity that occurs through your ThriendsPilot account
  • Ensuring your use of ThriendsPilot complies with Threads' Community Guidelines and Meta's Platform Terms

If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at ray.sundialforge@gmail.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ThriendsPilot only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not violate these Terms or the rights of others. You may not:

  • Use ThriendsPilot to access, scrape, or harvest data from Threads accounts you do not own or have authorization for
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to ThriendsPilot's systems or data
  • Use the service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Use ThriendsPilot to violate Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, or Threads' Community Guidelines
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute ThriendsPilot's features or data outputs without our written permission
  • Interfere with the operation of the service or overload our infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscription and Billing

ThriendsPilot offers a free tier and a Pro plan at:

  • $5.00/month, or
  • $49.00/year

Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will not be charged again after that.
  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at ray.sundialforge@gmail.com.
  • Price Changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance.
  • Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the free tier until payment is resolved.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of ThriendsPilot is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using ThriendsPilot, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

Key points:

  • We access your Threads data only with your explicit OAuth authorization
  • You can revoke access at any time through your Threads settings
  • You can request permanent deletion of your data at any time

7. Intellectual Property

All ThriendsPilot software, designs, branding, and content (excluding your personal Threads data) are owned by Sundial Forge, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your Threads content (posts, profile information, metrics) remains yours. We do not claim ownership over your data. We only use it to provide the analytics service as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

ThriendsPilot is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sundial Forge, LLC will not be liable for:

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits
  • Interruption or unavailability of the service
  • Errors or inaccuracies in analytics data
  • Actions taken by Meta (including API changes, rate limits, or account restrictions) that affect the service
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ThriendsPilot

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ThriendsPilot will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10, whichever is greater).

9. Disclaimer Regarding Meta

ThriendsPilot is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Threads name and related marks are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

ThriendsPilot depends on the Threads API, which is controlled by Meta. We are not responsible for changes Meta makes to its API, data policies, or platform terms that may affect ThriendsPilot's functionality.

10. Termination

By you: You may stop using ThriendsPilot at any time and cancel your subscription through your account settings. You may also deauthorize the app from your Threads account settings.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, if required by Meta's policies, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. In the event of termination, your right to access ThriendsPilot ends immediately.

Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of ThriendsPilot after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
